I switched my handmade bars onto the cedar tray a couple weeks ago and the soap actually dries between uses now instead of sitting in a puddle. The red-tan wood looks warm against my white counter, though I do give it a quick wipe now and then to keep it that way.

The Spanish cedar version has a lovely, subtle scent that lingers in the bathroom, and it keeps my handmade soap from turning to mush. Looks clean and natural on the countertop.

The cedar version smells amazing every time the soap gets wet, and it's held up perfectly in my shower for a couple months now. Handmade soaps used to turn to mush on my old plastic dish, but this one actually lets them dry out between uses.
